Résumé

[en] The recently developed theory of borealism invites us to consider thestudy of representations of the North in terms of reception, interaction, and observer positions. This article places the theory ofborealism in relation to other disciplines and links it to the pedagogicalmodel of concrete experiences, allowing for an understanding ofboreal dynamics and the mechanisms of reception and the culturalcirculation of borealism. It is necessary to consider the endogenousand exogenous perspectives of the observer, as well as their way oflearning about and processing the North, to understand culturalproducts linked to the North and our interactions with them.
